Apply the foundation lightly with a patting motion to cover the entire face. (A light patting motion as opposed to a rubbing motion allows for a lighter, smoother finish. Rubbing causes a layering of foundation for a much heavier look.) DO NOT cover eye lids with foundations; it tends to make eyeshadows crease.
